Hive Bots did not disappear with Levi
I'm just posting this here in case a1kon didn't make note of it.
During the Hive Battle in Sedina, the levi was destroyed, but all the other hive bots remained, including the 4 queens and we had to hunt them down one by one.
Aren't they all supposed to blow up or disappear when the Levi goes boom?

Yea, they are. This is a known bug we're trying to track down. Sometimes the process that controls the hive doesnt get the signal that a particular bot has died. When its the Leviathan, this is the result.
just a ?, why do the bots have to blow up once the Levi is gone?
They don't have to really. It gives an incentive for taking out the Leviathan (which is supposed to be much harder), or at least it will once the Hive is really getting in the way of trading/mining and that affects the economy. Also there will be a cycle of bots collecting resources, queens making bots and levis making queens, which would obviously be disrupted by the Levi being destroyed. And when a new one is made by the observers (which don't blow up when the Levi is destroyed, btw), does it gain control of the leftover bots, or compete with them? But its something that could change if we find reasons to.
On the topic of "does it gain control of the leftover bots, or compete with them", in the plans for having three Leviathans in three strongholds, are they going to compete against each other as well as against the nation & corporate factions, or are they going to cooperate with each other?
We've fixed a lot of hive issues this week, and they will be released onto our production server tonight along with all the other fixes.
Beolach, if more than one hive were in the same system, they would indeed compete for resources, but not very actively. One hive would send an observer in to another hive's turf; that observer would promptly die. So they'd end up taking complementary positions within space, constantly probing one another but never really starting a big fight. But I don't know whether we'll allow multiple hives to expand into the same system.

Please do. That'd be cool. And when you put in the code for the hive invading a station sector, perhaps you could apply the same code to having one Hive invade another Hive's Bastion or Stronghold.
