Racer and I tested this a bit last night, if you're grouped your bus kill count doesn't go up. we were of course grouped so we could find eachother in empty sectors without having to use common sectors to hop through.

You sure you were in an ec88?

*very* sure. we tried many times, and it worked immediatly as we ungrouped.

Does it only not count when you kill someone in your own group, or does it also not count when you're grouped, and kill someone outside of your group?

oh, that I didn't check. we were in the same group.

Funny, we just looked at that code yesterday, and sure enough. I subconsciously noticed the same thing and now that I read this again it's like, "duh!" I'm fixing that for the next release.

But now isn't it easier to exploit?
