Well, I was getting really low fps (<2fps) no matter what I did when I looked at a leviathan. Thanks to some troubleshooting help from a1k0n and raybondo, we've found two solutions. So if you're experiencing oddly low fps near the leviathan, try one of these things:

* If you have 128MB or less of VRAM and are running in DirectX 9 mode, try switching from Very High to High textures

* If you are running in DirectX 9 mode and have less than a NV40 (less than a GeForce 6xxx series), switch to DirectX 8.1 mode.

There's something about new Pixel Shader 2.0 based effects for the Leviathan that don't work properly with my GeForce FX 5600. So if any of you are experiencing this problem, give these solutions a try. :P

My fps is only affected by bots near the leviathan.
I seem to have good fps before I approach.
The worst Fps is when I see the greatest amount of bots per detail for each bot.
Other than that, once I'm close to the Levy everythings fine.

I CAN"T WAIT TILL I GET LINUX TO WORK!!!!!!!!!!
