Being pulled...?
So. . . I jumped back to my home sector after some botting. . . and found myself being pulled quite quickly "upwards" . . . Even with brakes on full, I was doing 7, without, I was doing like. . . 60; this made it next to impossible to dock (almost made it once by turboing and starting "below" the docking bay) and then I crashed into a 'roid and died while trying to log off :P After buying back my ship and exiting the station, the problem persisted. It did go away after I restarted the game, however.
Is this already reported...?
Thanks,

Watch your shift pressing. It can lock keys. Lets say you press r, hold shift, and release R. r and R are treated differently, and VO assumes you're moving up since you never released r. Just tap r to fix it. If something else like that happens, try pressing all your movement keys real quick.
Although it sort of acts like a bug, you can use it to your advantage. For example, 'locking' q and d you keep you in a barrel roll, from which you can temporarily pause to fire by trying to roll the opposite way.

That sounds like what happens when you're both braking and thrusting at the same time. Could your strafe up key have gotten stuck? Or if you pressed it, and then pressed shift, and while holding shift released your strafe up key, it could explain this, too (like Fnugget said). Also, try typeing "/strafeUD 0" (without the quotes) into your console, that should set it so your engines aren't thrusting up or down at all.
Ok, thanks for the advice; I'll try that out next time it happens.

Also if you don't switch between flight assist mode and physics mode on a regular basis, you might want to unbind that key (default semicolon). That has a tendency of screwing up your controls while you're still in motion, if you accidentally switch between those modes.
