Oh, wow. Zoooom...
nice...oh, and this is post 500 =)
Seems to have come to a halt... Firmage?
the dip over the weekend was probably due to people being away from their comps over Christmas
I'm sorry. The true reason is.. I switched to Linux. =P
I had to change Relay to work on Linux and then remake the RRD database since apparently it's different on different architectures. Luckily, I saved each and every Vendetta Active Players List and had already made a perl script to read the lists.

firemage, how about keeping a tally of unique players in last hour / 24 hours / 7 days / last month. also stats on who was in game longest (not necessary accurate, just in terms of polling).
Yeah, I have came up with that idea before, but I have little time to do these extra things.
I think that this is cool so i willgive it a BUMP
also, why are there sections of the graph cut out every couple of days?

Just a few problems. Very sorry. The graph died when some permissions of files it needed to access disallowed it to. I was changing my set up for a much better one where all processes that must run all the time have their own manager other than my desktop manager.
I'm using KDE.
The IRC Relay is using enlightenment.
The Graph and Provide server are using screen.

The time is now in Greenwhich Mean Time. I might change it to Vendetta time (CST) later. I just made this change so that it would be safe to run it in computers in timezones other than Pacific Time.
[stickied like a little piece of yellow paper]
W00t!
now i don' needa bump it anymore!
Not a big deal really, but if the graphs were presented as .png instead of .gif they would be ~8kb instead of 30-45kb.
<jokingly>But then the graph might not display correctly ( http://www.libpng.org/pub/png/pngapbr.html#msie-win-unix ) for users of Internet Explorer! What an evil thing you would be doing by switching to an open format like png!</jokingly>

Afaik, IE only has problems with tranparent png. There is no need for transparency in a graph like these.

Yep you're right. :-P
