I'd like to revive the video production again and I need help.

My first project will be to make a "teaser" video for prospective players/testers, maybe if we do a good enough job we can transfer the rights to Guild and they can use it for a promo/commercial/whatever.

I mainly need people to act out various tasks ingame while I record them. I'm guessing it'll take quite a few takes and retakes to get the shots and angles just right. I really cant pay any of you for ships or time that you might lose, so this will be a voluenteer thing. Anyone willing to help?

I'll be happy to help you out, Ben, allthough I wouldn't be too much help visually, as the only ships I own are vultures, wraiths and various other low-level ships. If I may interject...

Back when I tried to organize the battle for sector 13 and battle for sector 40, I found the only times I could ever get a a lot of people was midafternoon EST on Saturday. Like 1pm Saturday or something. This allowed the non-US players a chance to get in on it while keeping the times semi-reasonable for all involved.

Just a suggestion. My schedule right now is too crazy to promise anything :/

Pyro: that's great, I could use another cameraman, only problem is with Fraps, it saves as raw avi, so make sure you've got lots space. You'd also have to be an editor as well, as transferring big avi's over the net isnt possible....bleh anyways, Thanks for the vote of confidence everyone. I'll send out an email later tonight detailing what we'll be doing.
