I will help, I get good frames ( g4 800mhz!)
"I will help, I get good frames ( g4 800mhz!)" HA!
Well, I shouldn't laugh, I have the same computer actually.

Your framerate is more graphics card dependent than CPU dependent. I'm willing to bet that the graphics card you've got in there isn't too great. I'd say a GeForce 4 series card at best...
No good Macintosh frame-buffer-capture-software exists. Otherwise, a dual g5 would be great for recording. There's also that other problem with like, shaders not working, etc bla bla. Easier to do it under Windows with DirectX
What about Snapz Pro? The new version (the one that does sound too) is supposed to have pretty good performance...
Why not just run a cable of some sort from the secondary monitor out on your video card to a VHS recorder, then later from the VHS back into a PC-recorder box? Or get Incarnate to give you his built-in-video-generator thingy...
Digital -> analog -> digital conversion? Ouch...
Yeah, but no fps hit...
Really crappy video quality, though...
...he doesnt have a built-in-video-generator thing, he's using the same tools I am. With the custom wave-out driver.
Rogue: you've obviously never done any video work whatsoever. The quality would be ass-terrible...

I am not suggesting it for quality, I'm suggesting it for ability to get more than 1fps on that G4 they were talking about. And didn't the devs say that Vendetta has a recording mode and they have some kind of tool that can generate data from it?
Vendetta has a WAV-OUT driver that will write all sound output to a .wav file.
*dig dig dig*
Yo, AlienB, sorry to be a pest, but is this thing ever gonna happen? I just really want to see that one shot of us all jumping at once if nothing else :D

Seriously, man. I don't mean this as a flame or anything, but a lot of people put a lot of work into helping shoot this thing at AlienB's request, and then we never heard about it again... did AlienB get lazy? Did he never get his Radeon 9800 Pro? Was there just not enough footage? It's kinda rude to keep everyone who helped out in the dark.
The movie basically involved a convoy consisting of four players making their way through an asteroid field, and then being ambushed by a pack of 5 or so pirates. There was a fairly large scale PvP battle the likes of which is not seen very often these days... and the very last shot was of all ten of us lining up and warping out of the sector one after the other.

Hard drive failure. I've got most of the source video on DVDR, but dont have any high-speed equipment to finish editing it. I'd really like to get it going again, but we'll have to see.
Hey guys I have all the experience and equipment you need...
