The original word given for this interesting little time sink was PENGUIN. The idea being that you take the last word (or phrase) as given by the previous poster and add to it the first word (or phrase) that comes into your head that *somehow* relates to the previous word in some way, shape, or form. This is usually taken quite loosely.

[i.e. PENGUIN : FISH]

Here are a few rules to abide by:
1. if two or more people post responses to a previous word, the valid one is the earliest post. For example:

You'll notice that Spider posted a response 2 minutes earlier than RelayeR. Therefore, the next person should post a response to "wolverine" not "stars."
2. If someone posts a phrase as a response, the next person must respond to that entire phrase, not just a part of it.
