So, back in the nineties, there was a belorussian band called "Lyapis Trubetskoj" whose gimmick was making the most extremely popmusic of bad popmusic songs. The joke was that their lyrics and delivery was so transparently mocking the genre that no-one would ever take them seriously on radio stations and TV. Except they were very good at matching the genre they were mocking, and their songs were ridiculously catchy. So they got a lot of play on radio stations and TV. Which, naturally led to this.

Today, the band has split up, and the band's leader has moved on to making "gym punk" with the most straightforward delivery possible.

My point is, don't be shocked if one day Jason Derulo from .Scorpio.'s post comes out with something along the lines of Death Grips. It's just hard to believe that someone would, in todays day and age, would publish something so ridiculous as the "swalla" video without laughing at themselves all along. I hope.
