You probably have a better chance at surviving a car crash than being on a motorcyle. And just because some QBs haven't done well in their first playoff game doesn't mean that all will. Look at Tom Brady. After Drew Bledsoe was injured, he stepped up and led them to the playoffs. He still got injured but was better enough to replace Bledsoe during the Superbowl Game. Im not giving him too much credit, but seeing that he has great potential, could prove a lot of people wrong.

I seriously doubt that the Chargers would move to LA. They've been talking about building a stadium somewhere in National City but even if they don't, the Chargers are here to stay. So don't count on it.

Anyway, I'm not making any specific generalizations. But the TREND is for new QBs to stink in their first playoff game. And while there have been and always will be exceptions (such as Brady), I'm gonna bet that a playoff game is not the time for a "rookie" QB to turn around such a bad streak as he has been having.

Brady's success in the Pat's first Superbowl win is mostly contributed to Belichick. He restricted Brady to short passes and other maneuvers that were more likely to be achieved. By the time time they were playing against Carolina, the reigns had been let go. Don't get me wrong though, Brady is a talented QB. He didn't have the impressive Hail Mary type passes that Bledsoe could throw. But now Brady's quality that proved key was his snap decisions and timing. I don't see that same quick thinking quality in Rivers, but LT is just awesome. You know that's who the Pats D are going to focus on.

Yeah, Pats winning another one, after that stunt down at the mid-field, would piss me off big-time. A 54-yard with an 8-mile wind blowing at you, Vinatieri would have probably missed it too. But it was a hell of a game. Rivers looked very good, it was the WRs that kept dropping passes. Chargers seem to implode when the game is on the line. (Stupid penalties and fumbles.) Pats played with discipline and experience. Kudos to them. But now my attention turns to an ex-Chargers on the Saints. Go Drew Brees!!

No, the stunt as in, mocking the other team after the game, showing no respect for the losing team after a well played game. Mocking the other team on their logo and giving the choke signs after the missed FG. Totally un-professional. But whatever, its not going to spoil my week. Go Saints.
