this really dosent belong in the off topic forum.... yet. that being said i still think space hobos would be an excellent addition to the game, much better than the unrats (I still don't see what they ADD to the game other than annoyance). Space hobos could provide hours of entertainment, you could go out hunting them or possibley pay them a few credts and have a horde of garbage strewing busses following you around hoping you'll give them more. i like UC's suggestion about possibley having them have a fog around them kinda like pigpen on peanuts.

google sketch-up. it's the only frickin 3d app that doesn't require an astrophysics degree to create a box shape.

it's the only 3d app ui that makes sense. but it's rather limited. it made to create those buildings you see in google earth.

it got deemed off-topic because we're making fun and twisting the issue because it's funny that way. but it's still a valid suggestion. the hobo conceptual above is a joke but the idea of a larger hobo ship with smaller ones as a homeless convoy would actually be a) fun b) hilarious c) rather interesting

of course i wouldn't want vo to have flying cardboard boxes in vo but that's just conceptual. really beat-up models could be used or even deprecated ships. or perhaps just current models at ~10% hull integrity.

since when do you need an astrophysics degree to use 3ds max??

not if you use version 6 you dont

(thats the last version i've used, i assume that the later versions also don't require any advanced degrees)
