does anyone in here play any online game??? i play WOW, Guildwars, WArcraftand EVE Online...but i like EVE the most....its like ur in real outer space..though WOW has the same setting..

I play two games, one of which is VO, the other of which is a lovely little medieval RPG where the main object is to go around killing trolls, ogres, dragons, and the like.

A friend of mine was trying to hook me into EVE, and brought his PC along (much more powerful than mine) to show it off.

He gave me about an hour lecture that mostly went "for X you clikc and clikc and click, and to do Y you click here, here, here, here, oh and here. The click click clikc to click clikc, close this dialog, open this other one, and click clik click click".

At then end I'm like, and that's all you do? It has really breath-taking graphics, but if I want to see such a thing I simply open the most recent issue of PlayBoy, know what I'm saying?

He means that EVE is a screensaver.

I'll admit to a pro-VO bias, of course, but I was a beta-tester for EVE and enjoyed the chracter portrait generator most of all. The rest was beautiful, but failed to get my heart pumping the way VO can. I also had a rather nasty video driver bug that took awhile to resolve. Guild is more responsive in that regard.

Gimme VO 24/7; whether I can actually play said 24/7 is another matter entirely. Game's just starting, but with the community events and shenanigans one can never grow bored. If you do, there's something tragically wrong with you, and you should be dragged out to the street and shot to relieve your misery.
