I can't speak for the Itani Alliance, but my feeling is that most of us would choose to fight, rather than allow the Serco to expand their influence or dictate terms to Itani. However, the fighting would probably be more defensive than offensive. Initiating a genocidal conflict is not what the Itani are about.

It's our ancestors who are to BLAME for the problem. Honoring them in some perverted fashion by initiating total war is psychotic. I'd like to think that we're BETTER than our ancestors.

A couple of you have asked us not to declare war. However, according to the backstory, war is already upon us. The Serco seek to avenge the sins of the past, the Itani at first new contact wanted peace, and many still do want it, but the Serco would not forgive the old atrocities. They invaded. As a result, the Itani nation moved to defend itself. Whether you people like it or not, if you are Serco or Itani you are at war. You have two options, get in the fight or get out of the way. Indeed this thread is somewhat redundant in declaring the war itself. The war was already here.

However, the difference is until now the Itani have only been defending their nation with the exception of the Order of Akan. Now, our guild by the old Norwegian name of Skygge Vakter has been formed to find a medium between the pacifism of the order of Eo and the genocide of the order of Akan. We take the fight to the Serco, but not for genocide. We fight to avoid the destruction of our people, and remaining solely defensive will only delay the inevitable.

War is upon the Itani nation. Skygge Vakter will return it to the Serco.
