what do you have to do if you are an -SM-?

The only thing you have to do at this point is put the -SM- tags on your character, and be willing to respond to the aid of any noob's or SM that come under attack. This is not a green light to go around pirating or attacking.

All n00bs meaning that this is going to be a pan-galactic guild comprised of all all nations? Not just Gold?

Santa, you stated that ALL newbies are encouraged to join the ranks of -SM-. The inference is that you will allow ALL nations to join. If it's Gold only, please state that in unambiguous language.

so what does sm's do really?

they just fly around as an organized group of golds, helping newbies and generally being jer- errr that was before I guess... nice people now.

Edit: Moved comments to alternate thread since this thread is geared more towards -SM- recruitement and orientation. I have no desire to hinder this process.

Thanks Paedric for having some faith in the current members of the SM guild. I've managed to talk to the SDF and we worked out a Peace treaty of sorts.
