As doran2k has said, the SDF has infact privately worked out a peace treaty with the new SM. In light of the new SMs attitudes and the fact that they are infact rather new themeselves and since the war of attrition we had running can't continue, the SDF has ceased direct hostility against the SM.
Recognizing that the SDF has made missteps in this area of treaties before, I'm including a full list of the agreed terms of the treaty. Anyone may privately e-mail SDF Commander at: jaredalaska@hotmail.com for more information or to make suggestions.
I also call for SDF forces to stand down direct attacks on ALL SM tagged memebers (exempting 01, Serotonin, and IMPartial). SDF craft are of course permitted to "shoot to kill" in self defense.
-SDF Terms Of Peace Follow-
1) The SM will not attack newbs in buses or greif anyone. Those SMs caught can be fired on by SDF Enforcement Craft
2) SMs may attempt Caps against Serco but those SMs inside s12 and s2 are exempt from the treaty CeaseFire as long as they are in those systems or are carrying the Serco Flag.
3) The SMs and the SDF will not start a major action against the other without first cancelling the treaty. Major action started without cancelling the treaty is a violation and is also against the Law. The side starting hostility can be prosecuted.
4) No "worship" or "tax" will be payed by either side to the other as the treaty is mutually beneficial. Any stories of money changing hands is between private pilots and the transactions maybe investigated as possible fraud.
5)The SDF and the SMs aren't to practice piracy in ANY way shape or form and the side that is accused (or pilot accussed) is subject to investigation by the SDF NCIS or the SM Guild and punishment decided.
The SDF hopes to work closely with the SMs in the future to make a stronger force of n00bs for all nations. Once trained, a newb can create a new char of his or her national choosing, although we strongly suggest that they remain SM or SDF.
The SDF hopes to work with the SM to format a basic training program for pilots. The currect SDF Training Program (SDF TP) is semi-online and pilots wishing to run it MUST contact Black 1, or Spellcast (we prefer Black 1 as Spellcast is frequently busy).

After talking to SM Flea, we have decided to open the SM to members of every nation. Please feel free to contact us, no matter who you are! Hopefully this will help us to not only help out all Noob's, but also provide an avenue for us to police ourselves.

Yes, because nwo teh SM can police themeselves rather than some force of pilots having to go out and elminate them. Now for example, say a NT SM goes nuts and starts behaving poorly, instead of the SDF or INM responding, now, a Serco SM or Itani SM can respond and handle the NT SM rather than the non-SMs wasting resources to track down a rogue.
