I doubt they could really "bring us down" we are heavily entrenched in several key ways.
1: We have members all over the place that dont fly the tags but are SDF
2: We are closely tied to several other Serconian factions
3: We are closely tied to the DSG and other military organizations
4: Due to the SM's growth, Lin and AgY have started a mass emigration from NT to Serco, Lin and AgY being the first.

I offered peace because I have foreseen their rise. Gold isnt espically large and has a history of being beaten up by Serco and Itani. Also, they hold together well and will work closely together with lesser friction then that of the Serco or Itani Militaries.

I also offered peace because it was the right thing to do. I hold nothing, NOTHING, agaisnt these guys in real life, I could meet one of them on the street and I wouldn't care how they acted in-game. It's 2 worlds, keep em separate. It also holds true that since the SMs are ex-SDF and that they have been on the recieving end of SDF fire, that I show my support for their current steps at AIDING the galaxy and the newbs rather than destroying them.

I also hoped I guess that the SMs were like the SDF and want peace between us, I now see that it was folly. Oh well. As far as I'm concerned, the SDF is no longer holding a gun to the SMs head, we're going to back off and see what happens. Maybe the two guilds can work together somewhat, if not then we will destroy one another.

if you haven't noticed the SM (space monkeys) have been growing rapidly in the last few days. One thing that you may not have noticed, is that the SM especially 01 and I have toned down the immature bs. Granted .... we still pirate and grief people all the time. but at least we are nice about it now. to AKA and Icarus. the SM really does enjoy fighting you two. as you are good pilots, just as long as it doesn't get lame and start with the trash talking. i'm not offering peace by any means. just offering to be a little bit more civil about the whole thing. oh yeah and i forgot to mention that we have recruited a coulpe of newbies. We are showing them the ropes and all. We have adopted a new rule as not to kill newbies unless they engage first. and i hope that everyone can start in on this newbie recruiting and training idea. that way there will be a lot more people that will play. i heard one newbie today say "why does everyone attack the newbies?" "It makes me not want to play anymore" so lets give the newbs a chance.

Impartial and other SMs, I respect your actions to attempt to become a respectable force and as of now, the SDF will stand down from KoS status with the SMs.

However, dont take this to mean we are allies or even friends. The SDF will watch the SMs actions and will then determine whether or not to negotiate for peace with them, terms are of course negotiable. The previously offered treaty is still an open option and I will gladly communicate with a SM representative to iron out a peace treaty.

Terms of Peace:

1: The SMs cease hostility towards Serconian traders and newbs in exchange for no SDF enforcement in attacks against Itani traders.

2: The SMs and SDF agree to a ceasefire between the groups. Of course action taken in self-defense is exempt from punishment. Action taken accidentally as well is exempt as long as it is proven beyond resonable doubt that the damage caused was accidental

As I said above, these terms are negotiable to a degree. If you wish to further discuss a potential ceasefire between our two groups you can talk to me here or ingame. I will no longer have the -SM-s on my ignore list until further notice.

PS: The SDF is currently training newbs of any nation with no strings attached so as they can better survive in the uncertain galaxy. No monetary aid or any other form of aid will be offered to non-Serco newbs but you may run the SDF TP (Training Program) with an SDF pilot for no cost (other than craft that maybe destroyed...we hope none will be)

the SDF is dead. they are no match and as of right now there will be no "SDF" "SM" peace negotiation. the SM will not attack newbs or those who do not enter sector 11 or act hostile towards any SM/Sadistics

those who are being attacked by SM and wish to leave the sector will be allowed to leave as long as they do not return while SM occupies that sector

Im more sorry to hear that you believe you are infalliable. The SDF is very much alive and is comming out again. The reset drove down or funds but we're comming back again. The SDF will continue it's police actions for now.

There is no flaming here Black, nor is there any pummeling of SM... We won't accept a peace treaty offered in duress... If peace will come it will come with our words not our guns.

I was not implying that we would force you to accept a peace treaty under any means and I didnt mean to imply anything about flaming other than I didnt see a reason for us to start yelling and arguing with each other, that solves nothing.

I merely meant to impl ythat the SDF and DSG will continue to do our civic duty until peace is restored. Whether that be with missiles and guns or with words exchaged back and forth.

Pyro, your whole exchange was unnecessary. Serotonin's words in his first post were these: "i'm not offering peace by any means." Why'd you offer peace? I've seen the -SM- in the past couple of days, they probably could take down SDF. I've seen 5 or 6 new SM around. Their guild is growing. And it probably become powerful.

Oh and add to an SDF-SM peace treaty that S, T, F, and U shall not be used, or the treaty will fail and the entire galaxy will turn on one specific SM member, I think we all know who I am talking about.

Well the SDF as of late has not been following their own rules... I personally witnessed Elder God and AKA griefing a gold newbie who had mistakenly homed in sector 11... He was begging to leave and AKA kept griefing, I would say at least 20 times... Not exactly what I would call a defense ship... and he is your second in command Black? Not a good foundation for peace...

What were the factors leading up to this alleged transgression? Do you know? Or did you just come in at the end of it and jump to conclusions?
