I can understand that joyless, for FAMYs unkque system of piracy. But the old school piracy is simple hail and collect or shoot. Yes you may come see us before hand and take the initiative, but most aren't likely to do that.
@Bojan SKVs unofficial declaration of war against VOID is fair game. We agreed to war. TGFT didn't want the war. They were too proud and stubborn to concede, and they weren't a combat guild. They stood no chance. That wasn't war, that was a griefing campaign, plain and simple.

Not hailing someone is not griefing. I don't think I've ever hailed anyone before I've shot at them unless we were going to do an official duel. A few have whined, but I don't care. If they didn't know I'd shoot them, they'll know in the future.
Jordan, SKV is not griefing TGFT to my knowledge. LOL, all but one ship, the XC, has weapons ports. ONE and RED shoot TGFT and they aren't griefers either. They are just nationalist who make choices that are not in their best interest (personally I think it's silly for nationalists to shoot neutral traders). But, by logging in, we are all consenting to get shot at. If someone doesn't like getting shot at in a non-abusive fashion, VO isn't for them.

kbireta, you are the epitome of griefer. You fly around in a swarmhound trying to get PKs on everyone you see, in any way possible. Then you verbally harass anyone who stands up to you on public chat. It makes you wonder why TGFT (supposedly a neutral trade guild) would keep you on council instead of kicking you from the guild, but then you look at Ecka and the other stooges you associate with and realize that that is exactly the kind of crap TGFT stands for. Stop pretending like you don't know why people don't like you and smell the roses.

Hawkfeather, Swarms are fine if you're bombing turrets, but they're a little heavy on a hound in other applications. Not to mention, even a moth can outrun swarms shot from behind. A law neut and megaposi are much more efficient.
you're all a bunch of fraking newbs. the only reason people keep bitching about pirates being KOS with their home nation is because back in the day you couldn't friendly fire people from your nation unless you were hated, this is just a hold over from that mentality
Still the case in capital systems, apparently. I went to kill some Serco in Dau the other night and the stupid game wouldn't let me. Really need to get my Serco inventory cleaned out so I can get back to my proper, tri-KOS alignment.
