2 years or so ago, there was a really fun last man standing type of thing, except there was a moth with cargo (can't remember what the cargo was), and the winner would be the last person left who had the cargo. I'm trying to recreate this, because I think it adds a nice twist to Last Man Standing, and there's something worth actually fighting for. I was thinking of upping the 2nd place prize to 10 mil and the 3rd to 5, but I may need some donations for that extra bit.

Rules:

You may only be in a mk1, mk2, mk3, or mk4 variant of the most basic ships (hog, vulture, hornet, atlas, centaur, any other ships I forgot to mention that have mk1, mk2, or mk3, or mk4 variants). NO PROMS, VALKS, and FACTION SPECIFIC SHIPS! Anyone who even mentions "oh, there should be valks" will be disqualified from competition. In the events I've hosted I've had enough whining, and I'm going to be strict about it.

What do you think I should have as the cargo? It needs to be relatively light-weight. I have a trophy made for the 1st place winner, so i was thinking of using that, but didn't want anyone to steal it.

Why light weight? Have a handicap for carrying it. Samo?

Samo I don't think would work for this. I was thinking of a decription crate or something... we'll see.

ive got some cargo you could use for the event , 500kg, 1cu, and it's not a purchasable item, so nobody is likly to bring it with them to the event. it's also truly worthless, and not worth stealing.

I want this to be as fair for everyone as possible, including newbs. I don't want the vets using valks and immediately killing all the newbs.

I think this would be interesting/more challenging with only moths... though that would limit newbs ability to join in.

I have a very low tolerance for people who are disagreeing with the rules that the hoster has set. If you don't like them, don't participate. Simple as that.

He asked you why they aren't allowed, and you answered. Now you ban him AFTER you answered his question, and for even mentioning valks? He didn't even suggest there SHOULD be valks, just asked why there wasn't.

Take it from somebody who has dealt with a lot of criticism and whining over the years: he didn't mean anything. Curiosity as to the reasoning behind rules should not be grounds for disqualification, which is how I interpreted the first post. The second post was just joking around, making an observation - not making an argument. Nothing malicious. So relax, grab some ice cream, and commence chillin' like a villain. Speaking of which, I just realized: I am a villain now! So that means I am now the model for how to chill. As a born and raised Minnesotan I think I can fill that role nicely. 8)

I don't like it when people joke like this. I usually don't interpret them correctly, and you guys should have figured that out by now.
