Nation War was scheduled at 21:00 GMT (to keep the central european start time at 22:00), so when Nahin shot Pey was more than an hour left for the start.

At 20:01 GMT I docked at D14 and everybody was there waiting, so I asked on 100 and changed the start time.

Pey asked (demanded? xD) disqualification for Nahin several times but i refused

Pey started NW and came back swarming after Nahin Killed him, so he is a bad loser.

A retarded smurf (Illusion) came in in a X-1 after the start of the event shooting people, I didn't disqualify the entire blue team because i thought blue leader wasn't aware of this.

A newb came in a vult after the start but i think he didn't shoot anybody.

So I had everything but fun last sunday. As I said over 100, enough of this shit for me...

Now you can continue with the whinning and the insults...

That actually sounds like it was a very entertaining event

Since you must be the anti fun you should probably go away

<--- nub account of this particular nw

New player here, total time in VO has been short but I participated in nw once long time ago and recently re-subbed and when I saw the nw announcement on channel 100. Thought it would be fun to try another one so I started out for greyspace.

When I jumped into the event system (forget the name) there was someone at the jump point that started closing on me. I tried to jump to some random sector to get away but was followed and killed.

I re-spawned in a station on the other side of the galaxy and I started making my way back to the event system but was not able to get there in time so missed it.

Not a big deal on losing ships and props to the guy that made quick work of me but was kind of waste of time.

That was probably me - I caught a Serco noob flying through Sedina B8 (I forget the name, but there was a 'P' in it I think). I kind of felt bad about that afterward when I considered the possibility that you were coming in for NW. I usually stop pirating people as NW is gearing up, but I don't think I realized how close we were to showtime until afterward, and my level of berserkness was set a couple notches higher than normal for Halloween.

If you've flown in from a long distance and are in a hurry, it's probably a good idea to home somewhere in Latos before trying to go through B8, just in case.

This isn't about morality. It is about fairness. Nation war as it exists now can only continue existing if it treats all parties fairly.

I'm debating whether or not I broke a rule. I'll accept punishment willingly if the host decides I have broken a rule. Pey asked (demanded? xD) disqualification for Nahin several times but i refused I take it from this statement that the host does not believe I broke a rule.

Hahahah...NW is about fairness now? I guess that makes sense as to why douchebags banned the valk. I guess now you should start evening out the teams and mix the nations up to make each team like each other team. No wonder it sucks bawls. And its funny Pizzaface that you say all this about rules yet you killed some newb on his way to NW...hypocrite.

I must have missed the part of the rules stating that... "No pirate shall kill any player passing through B-8."

Anyone can host any event anywhere they want and make any rules they want. No one is required to attend or respect it. You host it in grey, then part of your event should be provisions to enforce your rules by

standard game mechanics.

crying is just crying.

shut up and shoot someone.

I don't know why we are going over this subject again maharu.

if you are going to take your ball and go home if you don't get your way, then assume you will not get your way, get your ball, and get home.

i can see where most of you are too wussy to take out peytros and nahin. just accept that they own you, and get their permission to do anything before hand.

And as soon as I figured out what was going on I jumped out and apologised on 100, I've been away from the game quite some time. So sorry for that.

I can't believe this thread is still going on. It's so stupid, no one understands this game

Hahahaha, okay okay. Maybe you have a point there, but thats not how I meant for those words to be conveyed.
Nov 04, 2010 Jmvcilus link
So...does this mean that fighting will not be allowed at or around NW anymore?
Nov 04, 2010 LeberMac link
Ahahahaaa.. You know, I don't miss this one bit, come to think of it. Sounds like the same old people & the same old problems & the same old whining.

P.S. Genka you suck at Photoshop . You're fired.

Is it EVE that's better for you these days, LeberMeat?

I'm sure no one ever fights in <insert video game>

Because of things like this that I proposed the
Host: event-focused "guide".
and included a power to "lock" a sector only for those participating on event...

Maybe, instead, Offer a good NPC Merc Guard to attack anyone not in mission.

Creating a "mission" for NW would be very simple. Also its hosting and management. Events are too good for being overlooked like here in VO.
.
Ban could be enforced by listing the offending accounts, and preventing them to take "Event Mission".

Wait, is that a TIE thrown in with the hair? Or a headband? I can't tell. Regardless, just when I think you can't do anything more stupid, genka, you do something like this...
... and TOTALLY REDEEM YOURSELF!

And there's not really any game occupying my attention these days, Doc, sadly.
