Hi.

A new VO feature has been released today. Vo-Bank will now be online and it will be able to help money be transfered around the universe alot easier.

The bank allows you to register with it and deposit/withdraw money. It also allows you to transfer money to other registered users. This means you could be in Sedina and transfer money to someone else lets say in Deneb. Ofcourse it means the person in Deneb has to fly to the bank to withdraw it.

Two things to note. When you register with the bank there is a 1million credit opening fee and any transfers you make costs 50k.

Now for all of the command you will need:
do /msg "Vo-Bank" (one of the following)

help - sends you a brief help section including the following commands also.

location - Sends you the bank's location except its planned to never leave Sedina D-14

register - registers you to the bank

unregister - unregisters you and sends back all money

balance - returns your current deposited amount

withdraw: number - sends you that amount, if you have it deposited

transfer: name amount - transfers the amount of credits to the name you state. The name you state but also be registered to the bank.

To deposit money simply send Vo-Bank money (/givemoney "V0-Bank" amount) the first 1million you send it will be the opening fees. The transfer fees are taken out of your deposited amounts.

On another note SlotBot now can be played across the universe using the same commands. The difference is since its not a bank you cant transfer also there is no opening fee. Any winnings/loses will be taken from your deposited amounts. If you register pm "SlotBot" slot and it will send you what you got.

Dude, April Fools Day was two weeks ago.

Not really much of a response to that.. I figured the hole trust thing might be a problem. I just re-read the thread i wrote and no-where did i actually say im only posting cause Makh asked me to. But Makh-Khasti is running the account Vo-Bank. So i added the opening fee and transfer fee because he wanted it.

look just pay the fee and deposit 1mil and see if the transfers could be useful.. If Makh steals your money then he instantly becomes vo kos and not trusted...

I started an account. Pretty cool concept. Just to formalize my suggestion earlier, I'd like to see the ability to contribute to player run events through VO bank such as NW, DR and if we ever have another Wingman Tournament and other events. You'd likely need specific accounts for each, with possibly the option to split a donation between the lot.

Also, I'd like to see who else has an account and how much they have. ;)

My only concern, is that as far as I know, Makh is a very new player, and hasn't demonstrated the same commitment to continuing with the game as the vets have. I'd hate to see him vanish along with peoples credits. Still its seems a handy device to conduct transactions when not on at the same time (I'm assuming I can transfer to someone offline) or nearby.

Also, I'd like to be able to buy shares in TGFT. It'd sort of be like reinvesting their money back into them....

Just to clear up a couple things..

1.) This is more properly described as a "money gram" and not a bank. bank bot just has a better sound then moneygrambot...

2.) I do NOT give interest.

3.) I do NOT implement a fractional reserve system. The only profits I make is from registration fees and the small transfer fees.

4.) I understand the concern over the issue of trust. If it means anything, I am a full member of TGFT and I am trusted by the members of that guild. If that does not mean anything to you, then I hope a couple months from now you will see that I am here to stay as a permanent member of the Vendetta Online community and will choose to do business with me.

5.) Registration cost is 1mil credits and a transfer from one bank account to another cost 50k.

6.) The information is backed up every 7 minutes. It is safe and secure.

Anyways Fist OfRage Im sure you'd love to see who has how much money?But thats private to them no? ... Just ask them. Another thing which I said yesterday if u want to donate to any event transfer to there account. If they dont have one well no-one can really do much with that. As Makh said this isnt an investment bank its main purpose of creation was to try help the "You can only give money to people in the same sector as you" situation

Thats sort of what I was getting at rather ineffectively Breazle. Perhaps if event hosts of such events as NW and DR and WMT are so inclined, then their specific "drop box" could be made public in the VoBank information so interested players can drop in a bit now and again.

yep its not planned to be moved... that sector is the most active for people to collect when needs be

We had this discussion a few months ago in the community projects forums. I do trust TGFT but i would want it run by someone like Ecka who is is completely trustworthy and has proved it.

Actually, MK, you have done something to cause us to actively distrust you: you've proposed to start a "bank" with a 1 million credit opening deposit requirement and an outrageous 50,000 credit per-transfer fee, without possessing any bona fides to suggest that you should be trusted with anyone's credits.

If you'd just gone on about your business, rather than proposing an obvious rip-off scheme, you'd simply be in the "haven't earned trust yet" category.

Dr. Lecter is right the fees are to high. And since you aren't giving interest i see no point in this "bank" Hopefully one day we will be have the feature to transfer money from anyone to anyone.

You can't instantly get trust by joining TGFT or whatever.

Trust must be earned over a long period of time.
