I have never been able to see it. It has crashed the severs? Is it online? If so where, what times? Is it coming back? Will I be able to buy one, or guilds only? For how much?

There is one NPC capital ship in-game, it patrols between Sol II & Geira Rutilus. On such occasions as it is destroyed, it should respawn 6 hours later. At this time neither players nor guilds can purchase capital ships, but we will be able to soon(tm).
The cap ship appears regularly in Sol II and makes its rounds through Geira, etc. (I'm not where I can open a map, so I can't say exactly, but the route is described elsewhere) I followed it for quite some time last night and there were no issues. Please note that it does sit quietly in sectors from time to time, but will move on after awhile.
As for the rest of the questions, there are no published answers yet. It isn't ready for player use - particularly multi-player use - yet.

*SMV Nemesis runs a patrol from SkyCommand, Sol II H-13 through Betheshee to Geira Watch, Geira Rutilus O-4. It has an extensive escort of SkyCommand Prometheus and Serco Vulture Guardians, and is covered by independently targetable turrets that fire high-powered AGT bolts.
It should be noted that at times, the cap ship entangles itself in other static objects. I've seen it stuck through a station recently and we were a good dozen trying to nudge it out.
I personally have not seen it fly but others have seen it do rounds like moderator says.
We should probably exercise caution to not blow it up too fast so that devs can get their bug logs when the cap ship blows itself up. This way, it's going to be easier/faster to debug it and find suitable serco captains to fly the thing.
One thing that bugs me though is the respawn time. Perhaps that for debugging purposes, the cap ship should respawn immediately.

it was a shame to be all excited when I jumped out with the cap ship, only to find a mean asteroid and hunks of ship when I jumped in..................
It'd be great if the respawn time were set to an odd number. As it is, the thing never respawns during a time I'm likely to be online in VO. It respawns at the same times every day, so I don't ever get to see the darn thing. I suppose that will have to wait til it's finished its shakedown cruise[s].
Yeah how about it respawns every 3 hours? That would make it alot more frequent.

3 hours is still a factor of 24, so it would still spawn at the same time every day, just more often. Having it spawn every 5 hours or 7 hours would cause the repawn times to rotate from day to day.
Spawn time is 6 hours after it's been destroyed, so unless it's being destroyed on a regular schedule, it the times it spawns should change.
yea boy!!!!!! just saw it today, and it looked great in motion! Manacing sight, cant wait to see 3 or 4 enter a system and duke it out against eachother. Only thing i dont like on it are the turrets, they are to arcade game looking. It would be cool if they looked like real turrets, with guns sticking out of them.
Ummm....i dont think the cap ships will be fighting each other anytime soon....although incarnate(i think it was him)mentioned he spawned some cap ships on the test server and made them fight each other. He said next time he'd capture it with FRAPS cause it looked so cool.

Well I bumped the cap ship and it died... it has issues.
That's one way of getting a station to move, I guess. Just staple it to a passing cap ship!

Had some cap ship problems today... Tried to make babies with a station... I also killed it twice...
