I played Everquest for some time (More years than I care to count). I played other MMORPG's from time to time, just to see what else was out there. In the end though, Sony's Customer Service drove me to find another MMORPG, and I found VO.

I made a few plugins. I was making a little present for the alpha testers out of one. ;)

Freelancer, was and still is a great game in my view, although it stopped working after we got a new screen for the PC.

Before that it was mainly the Microsoft Flight Sims, FS2000, FS2004 and CFS3.

The Vendetta (trial) was my first MMO, but now its all used up.

/me loves autoduel, I still say it's a lot like vendetta but different...

I've been gaming for a very long time. So, to keep the resume short I'll say I played Falcon 4.0, Tachyon, MechWarrior, and for the last 3 plus years Jumpgate. I waited a long time to get into the Vendetta beta, and when I did, I decided I liked the game a lot. I would have to say that PvP is my favorite part of any game. In Jumpgate I tried all the rolls out at some point, (cargo hauler, extream factionalist, anit government terrorist, and Pay or Die pirate)but always returned to some form of PvP. Vendetta has a lot of potential (both story line and game mechanics) to create some huge fleet based battles. I hope to start seeing some of this soon.

For some reason nobody mentioned the exelent space adventure game called X-Beyond the Frontier here. I played it a lot.

As far as space games go, I am surprised nobody mentioned Independance War and Independance War 2: Edge of Chaos. I think I re-played i-war2 from beginning to end about 4 times now and it was better each time.

i migrated from Asheron's Call - Darktide server (PvP).
Played it since 1999.

i am tried a lot of MMOPRG (EVE online, DaoC, Lineage, T4C...) but didn't like.

Waited for long a game like ELITE or EVE online with Player's skill invloved in combat like in FREELANCER or STARLANCER.

that's why i am here ATM.

if you like fight in spaceship the best game is FREELANCER.
But its not MMO/RPG and it's getting old but its still the best.

i doubt there are alot a people as in the other MMORPG
because the game is new and need some FIX.
But according the engine game VO could be the greatest game in Spaceship.
I v got Faith. :o)

VO should focusing on the "fight" more than on "stuffs" like in EVE onine.I doubt the players that do not like combat + players'skill and PvP will come to VO ATM. They will prefer EVE automatically .
while all players that looking for a MMORPG + great fights + player's skill in combat will try VO.
so do not piss them off.
