So finally after waiting a week or so for the Vendetta game to arrive so hopeful of seeing the box and story and what not all nice and fancy. I open up the wierd packaging, and pull out the box just to find out it's smashed. WTF!! The outside packaging isn't smashed so it wasn't usps's fault it was stupid gamestop. So my box looks like crap and waiting for over 2 years to finally receive this just to get it smashed is just angering me at the moment. Maybe I'll go out and get another box or something...but sigh :(

Anyhow, now you all know why I'm pissed, sucks doesn't it.

Complain! And Complain lots and lots. You deserve it. Write emails, inform your government representitives and raise all hell until they send you a new one!

When I complained to gamestop I was told: "if you don't like it, don't buy from us". And thats exactly what I did.

My box came all the way from usa to Uk, UPS managed to keep the outside box in a better state than the one inside! it had a crease right along the "flap" where it looks like someone had bent it gd n proper! luckily it sorta bent back and seems okish now... damn gamestop wont buy from them again...

It sounds like the box that was sent to you was damaged BEFORE it was packaged. Have you spoken to a supervisor in customer serivce? I know it would take some time up if this isa big deal (obviously it is) then work your way up the chain of command until you are satisified.
Cafefully explain that the condition of the box is very important to you and see where it gets you.

I aslo wonder if you used a credit card you might want a see if they have a protection policy that covers you for damaged purchases.

I'm still waiting for mine, and now I'm worried. This is a game I'm proud to have helped test. I have now paid for it, not just to play, but also out of graditude to Guild for letting me play for free for so long.

It think Gamestop should have a little more respect for the customers on BOTH sides: us and Guild. The box is most times all a potential customer knows of the game and company. If it looks like crap, Guild may lose a customer before it ever got one.

That aside, when I pay for something, I have an expectation of it. Unless its at an auction or the Dollor store, I expect it NOT to be mishandled and ruined.

grrrrrrr Gamestop sucks anus. I was supposed to recieve my order 6 days ago, because of this I call gamestop and this is what the manager said...

Well I'm not happy at all but thats ok. I got my money back, and I'll be expecting the manager of my local gamestop to pay me a visit. :) *sigh* I swear thou if i find it crushed someone will pay.

The time it's taking for them just to ship the damn box, it's like they have to receive the things from a secret manufacturing plant on Mars.

I woulda flipped out on everyone and killed a whole town had that happened to my box because as soon as i unwrapped the shipping box i perched the game box on my dresser in prime viewing location
