With the shipping going via Germany, no wonder the price is up!

What I don't get is the Manager's reply. Basically, "We'll send it to you in a month when it returns from its backpacking tour or Europe." Come on! You send the customer a new copy ASAP and the company keeps the copy that was mis-shipped when it returns to the states. Keep the customer happy. Basic business policy.

I wonder if a well written letter to the district manager of the company would get you results.

Get the game to other "major" outlets...MacMall, PCMall... etc. Get the European mail order houses to carry it by calling them and demanding it. They'll ship in a case and the shipping won't be so high.

This seams the place to put this...My box had been opened allready before I ever picked it up.The clear circle tape tag had been ripped off and part of the box and had been taped back on.

Tried to ask for another box, but was told this is only copy we have or are ever intendng to have(gamestop)

I think gamestop is sticking it to Guild software.I live in the 4th largest city in the USA and only one gamestop out of the half the cities gamestop locations had a copy, most of them said "what was that game name again?" when I ask it they had Vendetta.

HoweverI was able to log in and create account with little effort..so I guess no one stole the key!

Man. Most ebay sellers have better customer service than what is described here in gamestop. It makes me wonder if should buy a couple dozen Vendettas and sell them on ebay.

well there's good news and interesting news. Good news is ill be getting my order in about another week or two. They seemed to have found a "round about rought." The interesting news is that insted of flying from Germany to the US, its flying from Germany to Japan, to Hawaii, to Iowa, to Virginia. MY BOX WILL HAVE GONE AROUND THE WORLD!!

And even in (hopefully) less than 80 days!

Beolach is right. You are taking this very well and with good humor. I imagine a big brown box tied with string and a whole bunch of stamps on the outside. Hopefully the gamebox on the inside will arrive unscathed.

I'm glad this isn't happening to everyone, and only a few people.

I know I'd be pissed if something like that happened to me.
