Which nation is in the lead of the supply wars? There really is no way to tell..

Due to a bug, pirating Serco vessles and selling to Itani or vice versa may have exactly the opposite effect you were expecting

Not what I was asking. I wanted to know how many cargo was delivered where and whatnot.
Oct 16, 2004 Black Omega link
Yerrrrrs and what i was sayin is that even if you knew how much and where too it may not make any difference, depending on if the system counts it as Serco even when delivered to Itani or vice versa
Oct 16, 2004 HumpyThePenguin link
it doesn't, delivery messages are outputted to the right channels

Serco and Itani nations need to be more evenly matched for this to actually work. As it now stands, Serco usually seems to be outnumberd by a 2 - 1 margin in the Itani's favor. Serco can't provide an adequate defense of the Serco convoy and an effective campaign against the Itani convoys.
Oct 16, 2004 HumpyThePenguin link
Paedric, your defenders are just unorganized. The Itani have a group of pilots that regularily attack the convoys and defend on the way to divinia

Thats where the UIT come in. The serco can enlist their aid. There are more than two races in the game, dont forget about us UIT :)

Pfft. Forget about you? Don't forget that you have the privelege of travelling freely in the space of our glorious empires. This activity is the trade-off for that freedom.

unfortunately, the UIT are too much of a wild card. hmmm, I think that the bots gaurding the convoys should treat any UIT as hostile.
I've seen a couple of UIT's slip right in behind the transports and unload enough to kill them before the convoy escorts could even respond. I dont even think they take a reputation hit for it. Incidentally i think ANYONE who kills a convoy bot should take a -50 reputation hit with the appropriate nation. Surely the pilots of the escort ships are in contact with SOMEONE to tell them who was blowing up the transports.
If a UIT wants to help defend a convoy, he/she could intercept attackers at a distance, but they might be more help attacking the convoy of the side they DONT want to help. would make things less confusing anyhow :)

Im gunna have to agree with Humpy. Serco is just very unorginized. I was able to destroy a cargo transport with pretty much no trouble at all. I had some dude in a warthog TRY to stop me but after i killed him the first time he nvr came back.(btw at the time there were 13 serco-16 itani. Not a big differance there.) if serco orginizes a little itani might have some trouble takin out there transports.

When do we get this page?
Oct 18, 2004 Quentin link
I agree with spellcast, we must have some kind of faction standing decrease (and more than 50 imo) because for the moment, uit (im one) just have to blow every cargo and bring it to one faction or another to get standing increase. I've even saw itanis and sercos asking me to blow up their transport so that they could take it away themselves :/

Im guessing the Itani are ahead. While I have been online, I have only seen a handful of serco crates get delivered. Ive seen tons of Itani on the other hand.

Itani for teh win!

And yeah, the only reason I havent been pwned every time I see Quentin is the fact that seekers are really good now. Id like to see some kind of faction decrease for UIT. Its either state your intentions or die.(usually not at my hands...:( )

I agree. UIT shouldt not kill convois, and make faction standing with this "very neutral" act.

On the other hand, an UIT and me had fun for hours with an agreement like this:
I (Serco) killed Itani Transporter, gave the cargo to the UIT.
The UIT delivered it to Serco, and I fought the remaining Itani to confuse them.

So both Nation had their natural role in this group and we had fun.

Well then......maybe if you destroy a convoy you are supposed to take the cargo and hide it somewhere and make sure it doesnt get delivered to anyone at all. I mean this is just an idea due to past and recent staitments. Try that maybe it'll work.

Ray was working on the web thingie earlier... When I looked, Serco and Itani were exactly tied with 169 crates apiece. But the Itani were doing most of their own work, while the Serco were getting significant help from the UIT.

It'll be interesting to see how this changes over time.
