All you people from other countries, especially the UK should still preorder. I thought at first "its not worth the shipping cost" but i thought id see how much it would be. It turned out to cost 45.98 USD to ship to a UK address. This at first sounds steep, untill you convert the currency to Pound Sterling. This leads to the final total being 25 Pound Sterling, which is less than buying any game on shelf from the uk anyway. So let's all do the guild a favour for their hard work, and preorder, I know its worth it just for the extra goodies, so I preordered

I shouldn't need a proof of purchase.... I was a legend in EnB on the Orion server. lol

I have no problem spending US$60 on Vendetta, but not if half of it goes to UPS, FedEx, or some other outfit. I'd rather wire Guild the $60 and have them post the box to me.

BenShaw, i don't see your point. guild doesn't get more money when you preorder. but the postal service has-...

He's saying "Don't let the shipping price stop you from pre-ordering." While it is pretty ridiculous, it's apparently still less than getting a game off the shelf would be.

Is it really 30 bucks shipping? omg...

I better pre-order soon, but my low grades are stopping me... Hopefully I can pull off an A before my progress report saying I don't do my homework comes in...

Once it does, I'll be gone forever :S.

!?
How much would that be?

Price I was quoted was around $40.00 US plus tax. Mind you, I happen to live 2 miles from a Gamestop. Preorder was cheaper.

Re: Failing grades... Maybe if you studied more and played less? Just a thought.

/me supports gregory...

29.99 downloadable no specials things except the 2 free months and some in game special bells.

I made a profit - loss calculation of that option and came to the conclusion that that would be the most attractive offer for me, although I would have loved to live in the US, and get it for 29.99 + 2 = 31.99.

Or maybe just set up an account and let people transfer money from their accounts to your accounts with the notification of the Account that would like to get the preorder advantage. As long as I dont have to pay that lousy 24 bucks shipping and get the ingame benefits, I dont mind... (US people will anyway go for the box, only some europeans will prefer this option, mostly the germans/french and belgians :D)

Pre-ordered. From Germany. 19.99$ shipping vers. 2 month free... I can live with it and i really want the benefits, especially the "undying devotion" :)
Additionally i think it's good for GuildSoft if as much people as possible pre-order. I had allready payed a monthly fee for a short time last year to help let the game stay alive, cause i think it's worth it. Nothing changed.

Okay, The shipping fee would cost me as much as the game.
29,99$ just to ship the bloody thing? Agh!

*Whimper*

No, I'm very sad folks, I'd love a preorder & stuff, actually I'd love the physical bloody game. I can't afford this.

*sighs*

not quite:
$29.99 is for the software
$20.00 for shipping (at least for Germany, other countries may and will vary).

CIPOBO:
Aarrgh!
Nobody so far was talking about not wanting to have *Guildsoft* their 30 bucks. It's about the horrendous shipping fee.
Nice you can afford it. Kudos to you. But some can't.

Definetly *I* can't.
30 Dollars fits into the budget (although stretched), 50 don't.
And I already have 2 (or even 1) free month in that calculation.

Although I only played this great game for 2 weeks, it leaves a tear in my eye. But as it is at the moment, I'm out.
Oct 14, 2004 roguelazer link
Why don't you just get the $10 downloadable version when it's released in two weeks?
Oct 14, 2004 greggary link
because of some nice stuff (besides box, poster and book) that comes with pre-order?
And maybe I want to have *Guildsoft* their well eraned money.

sod it, preordered =)

delivery an all...
Oct 14, 2004 misiorysio link
Curious thing is that while Gamestop charges $19.99 for delivery to Germany, it charges $59.99 for delivery to Poland, which is right next to Germany and in EU as well. That rather prevents me from pre-ordering Vendetta...

/me waits and hopes for downloadable pre-order

Maybe we could send are email receipts to guild? i know i have one.

It's got like the order number and details of shipping attched to the order number on there website.

Am i wrong or is it actually impossible to pre-order when you don't have a credit card?
Oct 14, 2004 Spider link
I'm not in Germany, I'm in Sweden. ergo the $29,99 shipping fee rather than the $19,99.
Oct 14, 2004 greggary link
errr, sorry Spider

anyone who isn't preordering can just get the download online... doesn't really stop you from playing!

I want to preorder, but would be unable to play because I am too hosed. I wonder when the time on your account starts ticking? I don't really care about getting a head start, although any of the other goodies would be nice; I just want to preorder for the heck of it. If my account starts when I actually start up the game to play, that would be nice.

Otherwise... Spider, would you mind playing for me a few months? =D (under your character name of course). if yes--*promptly tries to make some money.
