Due to requests, a TS server is up at alienb.hn.org There should be enough bandwidth to handle any kind of load you all can put on it.

Er.... Alien, perhaps you should give it a bit more than 16 hours before declaring the patient dead on arrival. Maybe give it a day or two? Bump the thread a couple of times. I hadden't even seen this post. With all the new people, articals are scrolling down the page much faster than they used to.

I intend to try teamspeak for the first time ever.

Wolfpack has been using TS since the beginning of this year, it is awesome for coordinating flight and combat tactics, taking care of guild business and so on.
We have also opened our server up to 3 other former E&B guild during the sunset of E&B.
We have been talking about opening it up a bit more for the VO testing, this includes live talks with devs and anyone in VO that would like to duiscuss game issues.
To have another TS server avaliable to VO players is an awesome idea, and if ya hvnt got TS yet, then by all means get it.
If anyone would like to use Wolfpacks server, please send me an e-mail to starfox95@hotmail.com with VO in the subject line so i know who ya are. Oh, and ummmmmmmm.....Devs, VO staff, yer definitly invited as well. Until then

Yea talks with the devs are cool, we did that a few times on mine and alienb's TS server. But since mine is no longer online, we have all moved to alienb's. It's nicely setup and everyone who wants to come in can. No sign up required, just join the alienb.hn.org and if an admin is on at the time, we can allow you to register with the server. Occasionally if alienb is there and it works correctly we setup a shoutcast server up so that a few mac people can listen in on the convo and talk to us through IRC.

This is great, I know I will use it, now that I know it exists :P. My posting to it will be the bump it needed :)

Supposedly the licence agreement says the free verison of vent is limtied to 8 people... but I think a config file says "maxclients = 32"... I donno, but I saw a thread on it on another forum :P.
