Rene, my english is not good enough to provide a slang translation of argot; i gave the translation into standard english.

Argot is not a dialect; it's just old-fashioned slang. Breton is a bad example of a dialect as it is a true language, completely different from French.

So let's keep a French channel, no need for an "argot" channel :)

That's the extent of my french, but I've been picking up a little from my reading of War and Peace.(Which, by the way was originally meant as War and Society, but since the spelling for the two words is the same, it was translated as peace.)
