The problem lies not with the pirates but the way they pirate. There are some who will say nothing and blast you out of space. There are others, Arolte among them, who realy roleplay the pirate. Against Arolte and the like you could have a talk after, he would appologize for being the pirate I woul appologize if I scrached his paint with my explosion and we went our merry ways. To mute them is to force them into the silent pirate which I frankly don't like.

Zoom function works very well, alienb...you missed the point.

it may be a good idea to make a /vote unmute type of thing
and have the muted player have 3 messages to tell people what really happened and then become muted
reason being 3 posts hardly can piss/ annoy that much
and you can state your reason why not to be muted
