Thanks to this game my Oculus Go is turning into a $250 VO machine. This is exactly what the Go needed and I can't stop playing this game!!! Thank you devs for porting this to the Go.

SlashGorden, for something as simple and repetitve as demanding money you can bind a phrase like "Give me 300 k or you shall snuff it!" to a single key.
Simplest would probably be to change the set hail message that in its default state is bound to the "h" key. You can adjust the message in-game in the Options menu. (Some players have also written interesting plug-ins that let you set multiple hail messages which you can rotate or pick-and-choose from.)

Miss Manako, wouldnt it be difficult for a VR pilot to hail? I would think their buttons would be better off with flight-related options.

The in-game voice chat implementation is not useful for piracy, because your prey is probably not in your group or guild. Similarly, discord is only useful on the off chance that you're both using it and in the same channel. These things are useful for working with a team, or during an organized event, etc. They are not useful for communicating during random encounters with other pilots.

I recommend getting a plugin that lets you send multiple types of hails (e.g. expensive demand, cheap demand, fight challenge, and friendly hail). I use LegionHail, which uses one button to cycle between different modes, and the other button for sending the hail. There's a fancier plugin called CondHail that automatically decides which hail to use based on a set of rules you define ahead of time so that it only has to use up a single button. I haven't tried it, but it sounds pretty cool. There's also MultiHail, which just uses individual buttons for each hail; fine for keyboard use, but not great with a controller or phone unless you only need a couple hails.

Yesterday bought this game in the Oculus Store for $ 2.99, play on Oculus GO. I've never heard of the game before. The outdated graphics are completely leveled by the huge level of immersion in VR, feelings tremendous. Was pleasantly surprised by the number of features in the game, thinking to buy premium. At first glance, it is very similar to Elite Dangerous, I hope that the game will not disappoint in the future. Is there any chance to get Russian localization in the game? Thanks

Glad to hear you're enjoying the game :).

Russian localization is definitely on the roadmap (by far, our most-requested language), but localization in general is pretty hard for this MMO, due to a lot of dynamic content. But we intend to do this, probably in steps (localizing the tutorials and early-game first, and then later other parts of the game, etc).

FWIW, our graphics are far better on a gaming PC. People keep mentioning "dated graphics" while using a VR system based on a phone-CPU from several years ago :). I don't know why Oculus chose to use an 821 in 2018, instead of an 835 or 845. I'm sure there are Oculus Go games that make better graphical use of the 821 than we do, but then again, they generally don't have to contend with unpredictable MMO-type content.

Don't worry about the graphics, I'd far rather have basic graphics and a fast, smooth playable game than vice versa. It's all pretty convincing in VR and the fact that it runs buttery smooth at 72Hz shows that you have the balance perfect. I'm actually considering a subscription just to escape the 4 license cap but even then I would play it on the Go rather than a PC.

I have 2 questiuons:

1) If I purchase a premium subscription, will the subscription apply to all platforms (like PC)?
2) I feel significant delays in control when I use the Ps4 controller. in 70% of cases when working with the menu, I have to press the buttons 2-3 times to get a response. This is very annoying

1) Yes, subscriptions apply cross-platform.

2) That's.. weird. Although, the PS4 controller setup on Android (in general) is a little weird. I don't know if we've recently tested that on the Go. We'll take a look as soon as we can, but.. 99% chance it has nothing to do with "us". There may just be a fundamental incompatibility with the Go in some way. Have you tried it on other games on the Go?

I've alredy join premium sub. Still love playing this game on my Oculus Go except that I can't chat much because keyboard is not fully support yet by the Go itself.

I've tried plug the USB keyboard to the Go via OTG cable but it's laggy and unstable.

Yes, chat is the one failing of the Oculus Go - why didn't they include Google Voice typing keyboard ? I'm thinking of rigging something up with Google Home to get around it. There are the discord voice channels but nobody ever seems to be on them.

group, guild, and voicegroup channels exist, and might be a little easier than setting up discord for some people.

I found my XBOX one controller, but I can not pair it with OCulus go, just does not see it =\ Someone uses this controller to play?

Have you tried googleing how to pair it with the GO in general? From what i've seen, as long as the system supports it, the game does too.

I have one more question. In the game I am offered to register an account (red flashing menu item) when trying to do this I am informed that this e-mail is already in use. Yes, it was used to register here on the forum and now I can not use it to register an account. What should I do? Maybe I can log in the game data that is used in the forum?

At the bottom of the navigation on your left is "support"; send your forum information and in-game info and ask for them to merge the accounts or something like that. Don't put that info here though ;)

Also, there are audio settings and then there are voicechat settings. I beleive that there is an independent volume selector for Voicechat. Also make sure you've turned your device's volume up [and if the rest of the game is too loud, then use the audio settigs to lower music then. I tend to use music off and sfx on 3, for example].
