Since there's no individual Oculus Go forum yet so I may post here. Anyone play on Oculus Go?. It's very impressive and now I abandon all Oculus games but playing only VO LoL
By the way thanks Dev team for the super great game on Oculus Go Nice work :)

Welcome :). Glad to hear it's working well. We may have a patch/update in the near future to improve some things.
We've certainly seen plenty of activity from other Go users, but I don't know how many have made their way to the forums yet. It's usually a pretty small percentage of newbies who end up on the forums, but we're glad to have you here.

In game I have seen a ton of people who came from the Go.
Considering currently Go and other mobile VR has only casual game which can finish just 2 - 3 hours. VO is a huge difference. I can live in this game for the whole night just to deliver a datapad across the systems. If I may suggest it should be good if you have default cockpit for each ship type but user can still choose which one they like from option like currently available. Have a new visual cockpit when changing ship is amusing.
And there still a visual glitch when jump that the visual separated on both eyes.

It's a new release, I'm sure the devs are hard at work with post-release updates
chettawan, Does this visual glitch happen every time you jump? Or only occasionally, or when entering certain sectors?
Does it happen when exiting the sector or entering the new sector?

On when jump every time everywhere. It's like blinking. Just happend a few second before loading the new secter jump exit effect.
The latest update fix Xbox One S Wireless Controller very well no drifting or Dead Zone adjustment need anymore! and for Oculus Go jump effect no glich too. Thanks Dev! :D
I started in GearVR which is about the same thing. I use an XBox One wireless controller. My only issue is that the phone charge doesn't last long enough and I have to be careful not to disconnect while in space!
I've switched to PC since then!

With Oculus Go, there's no phone call or notifications interrupted and I can always connect the Power Bank while playing. So last night I've played 3 hours session just fine. :)
I just installed VO on my Oculus Go. It's impressive but the controller (especially when I want to turn around with the head) is not responding well. Basically I can turn left or right but is not possible to flip using my head, there is always a "high" and a "low", in the space it makes no sense. Also the little Oculus go controller is not responding well IMHO. I also tried the xbox one gamepad and I don't like, with oculus go I like to move tilting my head.
roberto63: There are a wide variety of control models available in VR Options. There's a good chance one of the combinations will work better for you.
We do the "fixed world" default controls for the Oculus puck-controller, as that has the least tendency to make sensitive people have motion-sickness issues.
For best results, we recommend a proper full-sized bluetooth game controller, like those made by Steel Series, Moga, Razer or Nyko. That's where the game really comes alive.

@roberto I recommend default control with Gamepad. It's works very well. You also need to switch between F/A.
Thanks, just to try Vendetta I bought and tried a Xbox one Bluetooth controller but still I don't like to play with a gamepad (that I cannot see wearing a VR visor and is not natural to me) . As regards the "fixed world" (or having "up" and "down" ) I've been playing also at Anshar Online (which has it and I don't feel any motion sickness) and to End Space (which doesn't have it and you can flip and spin around as you want), well, with the right settings also with End Space I don't feel any motion sickness unless I start spinning at maximum speed for few minutes... Anyways my comment was just to say that right now with the standard Oculus go controller is hard or impossible to play VO... and with a game pad is not that fun in VR.. at least for me
Okay, I'm sorry to hear you feel that way. I do appreciate the feedback.
In general, the feedback from VR people with game controllers has been extremely positive. So, I think you are not a representative sampling of general opinion..
Secondly, whether you or I are made sick by a particular flight model isn't really that relevant. I'm one of those people who could probably be a fighter pilot or astronaut.. there's no VR experience that ever makes me ill. But we did test flight models with a variety of people, including some who are sensitive, and the fixed-world mode was by far the most accessible to those people, which we considered the most important factor for introducing people to "VR" in general.
In any case, like I said before, there are quite a few flight-model combinations in "VR Options" that you can play with and test, to find something that suits you.

@dev there still one more big bug in Oculus Go. When you accept trade guild mission and on mission list screen. When hover on each mission button the screen will blurred. Its occure on The buttons that need horizontal scroll.
And.. Mission Voice narrative would be good if able.

There are only three developers; on models that support it, google TTS is available, but I believe Incarnate said that such wasnt available through the oculus API or whatever.

Yeah, as Luxen mentions, that works on GearVR, but not on the Oculus Go, as Oculus did not include Google licensed functionality.
It's less of a number-of-developers thing, and more that high-quality text to speech solutions have historically been pretty expensive, so we've been limited to things like Google or Apple's on-board solutions. But, some options may be getting cheaper, and will explore other possibilities if we can.

Got it. Thanks ;)
Just to chime in, I've been playing VO on my Oculus Go for the past 2 weeks - I can't put it down and don't use the Go for anything else now as it's the perfect 'experience' for the Go. I'm using an XBox One S controller and it all works absolutely flawlessly - I love being able to quickly look around for that bot before getting myself behind it for the kill.
The only real problem is that I never chat, in game, because it's a PITA with the onscreen keyboard and I'm beginning to discover that chat is a big part of this game. For example, how can I be a pirate and demand money with menaces when it takes me 3 minutes to type the demand - my prey will have flown or killed me by then :) Can't we have VOIP style chat instead so we don't have to type ? I know Google API's are missing which is a real shame because voice to text would have been good although the slash commands would have been tricky even with this. Is there a chat API, maybe I could rig something up with Google Home to send and receive chat whilst I'm playing ?
Other than that - buy the Oculus Go just for this game !
