*** Vendetta 1.8.276
- Corvus Greyhound turbo thrust increased from 350 to 450.
- Mines now persist for 30 minutes.
- Added a Drain Proximity Mine that drains power cells by 250 units when it explodes. It is available at some Serco stations and requires a high faction standing to purchase.

AEOLUS NOT SERCO!!!!
AEOLUS NOT SERCO!!!!
I concur.
Agreed.
But nice patch. Very nice patch.

Agreed. Aeolus needs a niche.
There will be plenty of other opportunities for Aeolus to have a niche.
why would you make this new type of weapon exclusive to one side of the war of all things.
Why not UIT, what has UIT ever done to anyone, then everyone can test it! I can't even see if this is good because you've deliberately limited it to Serco.

It makes no sense that Serco would develop a defensive mine. And they're too busy working on new vulture engine efficiency.
I'm pretty sure this is another arbitrary raybondoism, the mine is better suited to a greyspace faction or a UIT subfaction like TPG or Valent.
Hell, if this was the l-mine version it'd make more sense. Area denial has huge gameplay potential but this is just a defensive mine that traders can use on taurs to stop greyhounds from pursing them so easily.

TRS, you are speaking absolute...sense. The decision to give the mine to the Serco baffles me.
So now that we have this mine all we need is for valks to stop running away... oh wait SAMEOLDPROBLEMS
Seems like it fits with trader defensive tactics rather than aggressive Serco combat, but maybe there's a reason.
Yeah for the record samwise, if i'm not speaking sense, it's because I know something ya don't.
Tends to happen a lot, it's hard being a master spy :P

Itani, the peaceful race have the most weapons loaded on their fighters out of all races, and the warmongering Serco have less weapons equipped and are making defensive/tactical equippement instead of slamming more guns on their ships than any other race out there.. just an amusing observation :D
What is the timeout for TU mines? I think it was 30 minutes for TU's and 15 for normal mines before.
If it's still 30 minutes, it should now be increased to 45, or maybe even one hour?
Edit: blahblahblah shame on me, i don't know any weapon stats.

This makes sense for Serco.....as the prom turbos away, it drops a mine and the valk can't catch it. It will give prom users a fighting chance!
Savet, i have never heard of anything making less sense.
I like to do my small part.
Added it to Itani and UIT capitols, similar faction requirements. Also changed prices to relate to included ammo cost.
FYI, the Teller-Ulam mine timeout was already an hour, and has been for a long time.

It even says the TU is 1 hour on the wiki...
