Valks are op, proms are op the only ones who get a legitimate right complain are the people who fly UIT marauders.

Get good at this game and even a well flown valk will be no match to you if you know what you're doing in any ship, the gameplay revolves about twitch combat and skill not about who's got the better ship.

PS valks suck compared to IBG's when it comes to close quarters dogfight IBG's,RevC's/SVG's,CV's are probably the best ships in the game when handled properly

*Edit; you don't really need to prove your point the valk is overpowered in a sense and i would like to see some stats tweak age but its not that important, I think this game is better with variety and not everything perfectly balanced, plus look on the bright side you get beaten by a valk, it was just that you got beaten by a 3 port superlight awesome fighter fucking deal with it its better than getting your ass handed to you from a guy in an ec 107 and have to deal with someone who just beat you in a massively inferior ship to almost any vulture variant.

I fly almost exclusively CV's, with an erg set-up. I can (almost) beat any pilot flying a Valk that I can also beat when they fly CV. If I get beaten by a Valk, odds are that pilot will beat me if they fly a CV. If I beat them when they fly a CV, I'll most likely beat them if they fly a Valk too (there are a couple pilots I can beat in a non-Valk, but lose to when they fly a Valk, but they are the exception, rather than the norm). The stat differences are not as important as skill differences. Valks and Proms are MEANT to be better than other ships. They are top tier military ships, after all. All they need is some form of ownership restrictions, which has been discussed to death elsewhere.

Anyone who NEEDS a Valk (or Prom) to win simply sucks at combat. Incidentally, I have a much harder time beating a SCP than a Valk, in my CV. I could easily get the standing needed for a Valk or a Prom, but choose not to, 'cos I'm a Corvus girl for starters, and secondly, I don't need top tier ships to be awesome.
