A few things were different 10 years ago....
-The game was called Vendetta test
-9 Sector universe
-Red, Gold, Blue factions
-CTF
-Light, medium and heavy ships
-Lasers, Ions
In any event much has changed over the years, When I was young there was no damage indicator you just shot at them a lot and wondered when they would explode, they didn't even smoke yet.
Looking back it's been a lot of fun and also a lot of frustration over the years but that comes with anything you invest yourself into.
