Pointsman: we can look at adding that.
Heh, disabled my tracker script. The database ends its epic run with 29539 characters detected over 1 year 3 months
Incarnate, how about adding an additional column that shows the buddy's guild, instead of just their nation?
Strat: hmm. That starts to tread on exposing more personal user information over the system, like whether they change guilds and things. What's the reasoning? To get an idea of overall guild-density presence, based on the people you're buddies with, or something?
incarnate: You can already find out what guild someone is in by looking at the guilds page. If someone wanted to data-mine that, it would be very easy. In fact, I believe the IRC bot did that in order to show the guild and rank of every active player before the APL was removed. I'm not sure what personal user information you're trying to contain here.
Yeah, I suppose that's true. Hadn't thought it through, just trying to err on the side of caution.
I guess we can add that. We could also add duel rating and other things.

More sophisticated player-awareness stuff sounds cool. I look forward to it.
are you going to put the link back up in the side bar menu? =)
..it is, if you reload :). Has been since I posted the thread.
/x/active still complains ungracefully when navigated to if you aren't logged in btw.
Of course, change brings with it controversy and upheaval and a certain percentage of people who say "I'm leaving!". Oh well.

Awesome update Inc! I agree with the guild listing, I could just check the guild pages but I (like most people, I'm sure) am lazy and would like all my info to be in one place.

to be a bit honest i still think the systinus active graph looks way better.

its lacking some pie charts atm for some odd reason though :/

In this case, I think you mean the traders, coc...er...pancake-breath.

Would it be possible to show players you are mentoring on the "buddies online" thingy?
actually the stealth stuff atleast as mentioned in this thread don't nessecarily make it easier for traders to avoid pirates i think. Because the pirates can use them as methods of ambush.
Actually it was mentioned how quiet and pleasant 100 became....
Can we have absolute numbers on the Y axis? Maybe even stated in numbers on the page?
We can see 7 days back now. Well, these charts are going to be completely meaningless in a week or two.
Seeing nation ratios or player population relative to the day before yesterday is not what people want to see there.

Hi,
as a new player in trial period I'd like to know how many VO users there are in total/active. To be honest, I really enjoy this game but feel kind of lonely while playing it...
Michael
Edit: Sorry, forget my question. I found a thread answering it.

i agree with Inco, the graph just shows that people are there, but it doesnt show how many. that could be a graph for like 5 people, lol.
Have you considered that perhaps the devs don't want to provide numbers for reference? If one wants to be in the game when there are more people on, the graph delivers. Assigning exact numbers could just proliferate the whole "Well why should I join if there's only X players on?" and ultimately serves no one.
