We're competing again for the MMOsite Reader's Choice Awards. Last year you guys voted us to a "Favorite Developer" award (although that doesn't exist this year). This year we're in these categories:
Favorite MMORPG
Best P2P Game (Pay to Play)
Best Community
Best Gameplay
Best Graphics
Best Sound
Plus, this time they're actually doing prizes. The first prize is some free advertising on MMOsite.com, along with some sort of physical crystal goblet or something. We could certainly use the free advertising, so feel free to vote for us!
Any given IP address may vote up to three times per day. They say beyond that they don't care what happens, and will not be adjusting the totals.
The main site is here: http://contest.mmosite.com/gameprize/webapps/
But this year they want us to embed javascript buttons on our site for the voting. Unfortunately, that's a little troublesome for me to drop in right now, I'll have to figure out a workaround for our site. I may need to hand-edit the newspage later.

Doing my part!
Making a seperate page that is linked to via the site might be a little easier. Just a blue background, maybe a few graphics and the javascript button(s).
Maybe make checkboxes to select which votes you wish to cast (and one that checks all), and one button to send them, because it's a bit tedious having to click them all. But that'd just be nice to have :)
Ready, yoda?
download tor. vote.
Lets see if we can get another number 1 spot!
This can end no way but awesome.
Whenever I try to vote, it pops up and says "Vote failed." This is true from both Mac and Linux, using Safari and Firefox.
Yeah, I keep getting "Vote failed" too. Does one have to have an account at MMOsite to vote?
Voted. I just used Firefox with Linux and it worked just fine. (without logging in)
Ok, I've created a page here, with the javascript link that allows you to vote for all categories at once (the single link was their idea).

I'll get my botnet right on this.
That page doesn't seem to do anything on Chromium.
No, I take it back. It throws an error.

It works for me on XP with Chrome, IE8, FF 3.5.7.
If you look at the page it's sending out a request to (http://contest.mmosite.com/gameprize/webapps/?controller=vote&action=voting&id=266,267,268,269&siteid=171&sitename=vendetta%20official&random=N5JgO), you can see why. It attempts to evaluate the response from that server (which is kinda lulzy, btw). However, that server has a PHP warning ("Undefined index: random") that is being spit out as HTML and confusing the eval() in the JavaScript.
What I'm not sure of is where that PHP warning is coming from...

All I see is alert('Vote Failed!');, potentially because I've already voted? I dunno. I voted from FF a little while ago, using the page.
I can tell them something's wrong, if we can figure out more specifics. Communicating with them is challenging as it is (they're Chinese and while their English is good, there is some language barrier).

Yes, English does appear to be a problem. I got "Vote Failed" from FF3 on Linux. "Vote succeefully" from Opera 10 on Linux.
But it let me vote 4 times, so I don't know if the votes were actually going through...

I voted fine with Safari on Mac. And why isn't VO in "best MMOFPS"? I guess they don't count space flight simulator FPS games, eh?
Nor is VO marketed as such.
