Me thinks a VO 5th Anniversary bong would sell quite well. ;)
yep.
Or even a sticker that could go on a bong... but yah, a bong (or other such things... flasks included) would sell quite well. Nothing like talking about a game with pretty colors while under the influence.
only white things?
nothing black?
no faction specific things?
meh.

No. Everything is not in just white. There are many colors available. That's what it means by, say, "23 colors" under the T-shirt. If I set it to use black as the primary display, the items will appear more expensive.. unless the person goes in and chooses the white item. I haven't had time to make faction specific stuff yet. See the above posts on exactly the same subjects. Blah.
[EDIT] There. Now t-shirts appear to be $28.99 instead of $21.99, because I have "Black" selected. Maybe less people will be put off by price than by the visible colors. <sigh>.

Geez Detructor, way not to read a thread before posting to it.
@incarnate huh? there is nothing to choose a color...
@whistler I read the first page of the thread, so what?
*edit
meh, strange, after I refreshed the cache (ctrl+f5) it works now. Colors are there.
sorry :/
*off and buying some stuff*

It would be interesting to have Aquean Ore Carrier written on the water bottle or is it on the back?
Since when is that my line Lecter?
[edit] Well I guess 2004ish, but that's back when I thought I had convinced everyone that I was 22. So it doesn't really count

wtf why is everything only offered in black im sure you would get more people to buy the shirts and stuff if they came in different colors.
Incarnate, my guess is that for the colors in the design to display properly on a dark fabric they have to lay it on a bit more thickly, which means a higher print cost. It's a lot harder to print white letters on black fabric than black letters on white fabric, and it takes more printy stuff.
Hmm, I want an "Estrian Prosis lurks" mug.
Apparently the dark shirt printing process takes two passes through the printer: one to lay down the white base, and one for the color.
Helio MIsts mug!! Excellent idea Fluffy
Inc, ever think of using Zazzle?
Yes, I considered Zazzle. Printfection seemingly had better reviews as far as print job quality.
It's all the same instant-print crap, Inc. Iron-on t-shirts, inkjet mugs and stuff, and digital-print paper items.
But, good stuff for the price, I say.

I was pondering 3D-printing and hand-painting 6" Prometheuses, and/or other ship models. It's stuck at some stage between pondering and getting permission.

Leber: Well, they're all direct-to-garment inkjets, if that's what you mean (it's not an iron-on thing at all). But the big issue is their QC and how well they control the distance between the printed item and the nozzles. CafePress has a tendency to have too much distance, so their stuff looks blurrier. There's all sorts of obsessive reviews here for any who are interested. Considering they all use the same machines (same brand, even) the variability in print quality can be pretty dramatic.
Printfection was the best balance of good reviews that I could find (on there and elsewhere), combined with good site-integration options. Within the limits of time that I could spend, it seemed like a good idea, let's hope it was a good choice.
At some later point, if I come up with a cool silhouette design, I may try SpreadShirt (vinyl printing), or other options. We'll give this a shot for now.

I like the silhouette idea. I like my shirts a bit more subtle, but I'm in for a mug at minimum.
