As part of the Fifth Anniversary Celebration, I've created some VO merchandise (something long requested by the userbase). The items marked Limited Edition will only be sold during through the holidays of this year:

Now I have to give fair warning, I have not yet received my "test" t-shirt from them yet. If I delayed until I did get it, the "celebration" period would be nearly over, so I'm just going to post this now. I don't know if the image might print a little dark or a little light or whatever, but I've read good reviews of Printfection's quality, which is why I chose them. Also, I designed the image to look nice on a wide variety of shirt colors (dark and light), but clearly I'm not going to buy all of them to make sure. If it looks good to you, then that's cool; caveat emptor. There's also a 30-day return policy on their stuff (may not include shipping costs, don't know).

Also, there's a 3-business-day lead time on making the items, added to however long to ship, so keep that in mind if something is desired by Christmas.

The base price of the dark shirts is higher than the light ones. I don't know why, but it isn't related to us. I think the shirts will look pretty cool in the darker colors, though.

Cool,just ordered the mug and t-shirt,which will undoubtedly delight and astonish family and co-workers. Might even get some curious enough to try this place out :-)

Designs take time. I have a bunch in mind for the future, but I'm really busy with other stuff as well. So for now, we have this.

Check with ctishman and Leber, Inc. They did a bunch of designs, some of which are non-guild specific. I distinctly remember some great Serco and Itani ones on mugs, t-shirts, etc.

ctishman sent us mugs, we have them at the office. His stuff is cool, but a bit dated at this point (and the mugs printed kinda dark). I'm trying for something a little more involved. This is just my first shot at it.. couldn't spend a ton of time.

He did have some funny stuff though, which I'll be trying for as well, when I can.

Leber: that's now two people who have asked me that ;). But Printfection doesn't do thongs. I imagine you can get one custom-made if you like..

Not to nitpick, but the store front sucks with everything in white. I looked at it and said 'Oh Hell No!'. However, wanting to support VO I hung around and looked a little deeper. The shirts and stuff look cool in other colours, I'd have loved to get the hoody, but I don't like the colours offered. Forest Green would be great.

I'm not trying to be an ass, but seriously putting some colour on the clothing items for the store-front would make everything much more appealing. For the record I just spent almost $80 on the stuff.

Edit: Also, needs a Vendetta-Online Spam offering and a squeaky VO Troll.

Edit2: Must have the VO Thong. I wouldn't buy it, but it should definitely be listed.

Edit3: Oh Oh OH! Must have the Women Of VO T-shirt, with caricatures of the likes of Azumies, Bockscar, Miss Chi, Kerias, Mystics, Obsidian, Miharu (yeah I know but who cares). Perhaps create a collectors set with a spread of each person per shirt. And errr. All wearing the thong...

All I know is that I like his ship/nation focused designs better than your cleaner, crisper, modern-day VO graphics. There's something more appealing about the game art being the focus rather than the bright blue VENDETTA! being what the item is all about.

But hey, despite using a top of the line machine, I still play VO with a totally black background. So maybe my opinion isn't something most people would share.

Fluffy: I totally agree. Whatever color I choose to put on the front page lists the price for that color. The dark colors are a lot more expensive than the light ones, for some bizarre reason known only to these print-to-order shops. So if I use the dark colors, it looks more expensive. The light colors for some of them are kinda hokey, so.. I wasn't really into that.

This should all be solved (I think) when we move the merch stuff more "in-site", in terms of transparently included in the VO site.

Whistler: Yes, this is officially moneymaking merchandise for us. Although not nearly as much as Printfection is probably making. But hey, we don't have to ship stuff, or track inventory.
