I'm not sure what aspect of PBC-PayPal you find "insecure". They do get your source IP and paypal-shipping-address for anti-fraud purposes. But the PayPal account itself is still ours, and they only have limited access. They mostly just work with PayPal order numbers, and do address verification. The money itself never passes through their accounts, it goes directly to our account, but they then have some administrative input and can tell us, over the PBC API, whether it has "cleared" their anti-fraud measures or not.
I wouldn't expect direct PayPal support to manifest in the immediate future, but possibly this year.

@ladron, come, eat a fish and go home. little troll.
@incarnate hmm...so they are only for anti-fraud? okay, then I missunderstood that website.
Thought that it is something like a transmitter -> from one payment system to the payment system to another.
okay, sorry then everything is okay.

For every PBC payment system other than PayPal, PBC is the main handler of the funds and we receive them from PBC (User->PBC->Us). However, in the sole case of PayPal, we receive everything directly from the end-user, and PBC simply acts as an approval mechanic.
