Question about Vendetta.

In VO it takes only a few days to make a viable combat character. Beyond a very basic and attainable point, player skill is more important than character stats.

EvE has an oppressive leveling scheme and you will never be able to exert much influence on the flow of a fight once it has started.

But EvE's mining/trading/manufacturing side is way more sophisticated. EvE is bigger, has more developers, more players, more depth, more things to do.

I'm pretty sure our trolls are more awesome than their trolls, though.

Seriously, I spend more time laughing at Lecter, genka, and assorted other idiots on the boards than I do ingame.

Our trolls are experienced and untamed. Vendetta's forums are WAY better than EVE's forums.

Oh, by the way, the combat in VO and the 4-man developer team is the best. Pretty much everything else is better in EVE though.

So if you like mindless mouseclicking, trading or mining or grinding or grovelling to players that have been there longer than you, or you enjoy working for MONTHS to get a single ship that will get webbed and exploded in your first trip to lowsec, play EVE.

If you like shooting things and team combat and witty banter and becoming the equal of veterans in a few weeks of play, play VO.

To be fair, even after a few minutes, you can fight just as well as certain vets--like Leber.

I disagree lecter, vo needs more half ass pirates, while anti-pirates are harassing them, I'm free to blow shit up.

Excellent point, look; I stand corrected. Warmachine, please report to Sedina to start pretending to be a pirate threat as soon as possible.

You could be a pirate tease those are fun.

But "Don't chase me I'm full of cargo" is already taken, you'll need to invent your own bait
