Thanks Im joining serco :) , I wanted to initially so thats what Im going to do.

Being serco will not neccesarily "force (anyone) to get better at pvp".
Those players that incline to pvp can do so as any nation, and will spend the time to learn it. The difference if you do it as Serco (and hopefully with us in our 'Big Red One' guild) will be to keep going the variety that VO can have, and not be just another Itani in a valkyrie.
If you take Serco ships into grey space for pvp you will probably get more fights, just because us Serco are still relatively rare.
"Against greater odds": just lately [ONE] has outnumbered [ITAN] in our (hopefully regular) clashes in Deneb, that may change though should ITAN get it's act together, the sooner the better, hint hint.
