Waitin for this download, played games like WOW, asherons call etc... most of the big MMORPG titles, now im on a mac and i hate world of warcraft (too easy, too lame, hate the company (blizzard)) I think a "space" mmorpg sounds kinda cool so ill try it out:D been looking for a game where i wont have to play 24/7 to be good at, kinda got alot of shit going on RL. Anyways, howdy.

This is the little company that could. They aren't the fastest or the biggest but they do put thier heart and souls into making a good product.

Also I hear that customer service with guildsoftware is pretty good.

But our laser sounds are still pretty lame, although "pewpew pew" isn't a bad characterization.

I just joined today and I must say I'm really impressed with what this tiny dev team have achieved and the sence of comunity that seems to surround this game. I've played a lot of big budget mmorpgs and they my have better graphics and vast content teams but hell theres something about this game that just makes me smile and apreciate even the rough edges.

But yes some of the sounds could do with a little work :)

P.S. Yeah, the weapon sounds aren't perfect, but once you've played for even a couple of months, you'll become so honed to all the different sounds that you won't care, (and won't want) anybody to change the sounds.
