And now another idea to protect you from teh Ideas of Sheepdog... From the Desk of Sheep.

Yesh Nalar I was thinking about that today while i was getting mothers presents (I dont know why.). But it could be that there would be other small sacrifces for using cargo space for weapons. Such as (random idea) 'hot spots' on ships where lets say you were hit with a charged lazer or a Railgun in the Cargo Traded for Weapon slot it would make you go *BOOM*... or trading Cargo Space for Weapons would make your armor/ turn rate/ max speeds go down. Or (i know your all thinking when the hell will he shut up) you could only add Small Ports to a ship for 3 cargo space. And if you wanted you could get more missle space for like 2 cargo space. THIS could really make Valks deadly, and the maruader a trader not to mingle with... the Missle
valk could be then:

2SNflrs w/ Tach
the ammo could upped for the Sunflares (lets say 2 cargo space can get you 8 more Sunflares for a launcher) with about 24 rockets per launcher. Deadly.

Another combo (which you might see alot then)
3 Sunflare w/ 2 Tachs.
Another deadly fighter.
And this would not unbalance other ships because they would be able to do this to. Im just using valk for example because its my baby.

::wosh:: another thing to help prevent over use of switching out for weps would be limits per ship. so if a ship had... 6 cargo space you could only make 1 new weapon and 2 new ammo for rockets. This would prevent some bad stuff that could happen...

2 Yellow Jackets
And A tachron blaster in the front <-- sung to the tune of twelve days of x-mas. right. thats enough ideas to counter bad stuff.

maybe trade 6 cargo space for 1 small weapon port, and 10 cargo space for 1 large weapon port. Or trade in 1 small weapon port for 4 cargo space and 1 large weapon port for 6 cargo space.
