when grouped, the bars indicating the health of all group members in the sector don't change color when a player gets damaged. It might also be interesting if when a player isn't in the sector, the field displays where they are.

I was playing www.pandora.com and VO.
I had been playing VO for about 30 minutes.
All sounds had been working.
Clicked on a button and it started beeping incessantly.
Mouse wouldn't move, nothing.
I had to restart my comp.
There's this error file....
Maybe its related o_O

Predictably reproducable:
- Login dialog is way off center and partially obstructed when in 640x480
- Chat is severely chopped when in 640x480 and in a station
- The "Launch" button, in some circles reguarded as rather central to some gameplay elements, is not visible in 640x480
640x480 is bork. Suggest it is removed (making 800x600 the minimum resolution) or that the menues are scaled to handle smaller resolutions. Either that or give everyone a new monitor that handles 800x600 at higher refresh rates :P
Not reproduced:
- There is something funny about the client going to 56hz refrehs rate when flipping to fullscreen from windowed in 800x600, but I haven't been able to reproduce.

todo: display error: Error 21.
This appeared when I declined a mission. I could not get it to reappear.

I am unable to play Vendetta using the new client, because crashes.
Scenario 1) Launch the client, take the default settings, login, agree to the EULA, select a character, click Play -> it crashes.
Scenario 2) Launch the client, adjust the video settings to something requiring less video memory & cpu use, click OK -> it crashes (and doesn't save the settings change).
I'm running the beta4 client in it's own "clean" folder on my desktop. The machine is a 1 GHz Powerbook G4, 1 GB RAM, 64 MB ATI Radeon Mobility 9000 graphics, built in 15" LCD display running at 1280 x 854, Mac OS X 10.3.9.
Please let me know what other information (log files, etc.) I can provide that would be helpful.

re green glow when picking up cargo: yes, it's known. please speak nothing more of it. Any more comment about it will result in our denying it's existance. There is nothing to see here, move along.
re F9 camera toggle: (same thing)
re 640x480: I already made the client not be able to choose 640x480. It was removed from the list of choices. I don't know why it choose that res at all. Please list all available resolutions VO3_b4 shows.
re echo command: it should exist. What is an example of where it doesn't work in vo3_b4?
re crashes: I don't know yet. Check out the errors.log file after closing all error messages and email them to me.

tried again in Linux, yes, it works, but not in doze, for some reason? Also, it doesnt goto the errors.log and till we get a new shiney lua interface to do stuffs, well, I will send a mail or something, some of us NEED echo to goto the chatlog.

'tis very strange. With both Beta3 and Beta4, my test client crashes after I select a character and press Play, ie as it's entering the universe. Why is this? Did I forget something or is this a bug of some sort?

Not sure any of my windows reports are releated to VO, it maybe something in doze, will try a fresh install tommorow.
mdaniel: ok. that'll be fixed for the next version.
moldyman: What sector are you spawning in? Does it happen when you create a new character of different nations?
yoda: very strange. I can't see why it would work in lunix but not in windows.
graig: yay! :)
