Yes, damicatz, Wine certainly fits the dictionary definition of emulator, but with that definition you could call Win95 a Windows 3.1 emulator. So in technical discussions 'emulation' is something specific which Wine does not do. But obviously we've beaten this horse within an inch of its life, so I'm going to lock this thread.
