We should have the "universal" fat-binary support in the client relatively soon. Perhaps with the first test release even. I'm wondering if any of our users will be able to test the game on Intel-base Macs? We haven't had the money to get a development box from Apple, so we'll be kind of shooting in the dark on this one.

I don't think anyone will want to run our game under Rosetta ;).

I just ordered a MacBook Pro about 2 hours ago.

I am sure the first iMacs will pop up in neighboring offices soon (tm). I will give it a try.

Hmm, I bought my iMac G5 six months ago , so it will be a while before I upgrade.

I plan on getting me a quad g5 first (to have the top-of-the-line PPC product), so, no, not anytime soon. But I do plan to get me a new portable as well as a high-powered system for real work (when pigs learn to fly and stuff, you know).

I will very likely be ordering a MacBook Pro soon. However, they are estimating delivery in mid-February.

According to this: http://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/5/12631#156326 , mgl_mouser already has an intel Mac and is already running the client under Rosetta. Perhaps they would be able to help you test the client before we get our intel Macs?
