Yoda, this may offer you some comfort: back in 1994 (before I had a job+family == life ;-) I was the first player of a MUD (multi-user dungeon, 90'ies multiplayer text adventure games) to reach 1 year of online time, at the time around 5% of my entire life. I've been thoroughly beat since though. Today, the same MUD has players with 5 years online time.

Yoda's a lucky dog who controls the firewall at his work, and can get away with playing at work. I could, but I don't control the firewall... I've occasionally considered suggesting the client have an option to change the server address and port, so I could connect through a ssh tunnel to my box at home & from there to the VO servers. But it'd probably put me around Martin's latency, maybe even worse, so ah well... I can play Nethack, and one of these days I'm going get a character ascended.

And here I thought my need for professional help went without saying....

No, and it doesnt count my other account either, but to be honest, I spend a _lot_ of time AFK, theres even been times when I have left home/work and left me logged in, so its prolly more like...
