Yes yes yes, this has been brought up repeatedly (where have you been?). Incarnate has said that he still intends to make this happen. We don't have much in the way of equipment or options as it is, so "special" stuff would tend to irritate others. I'm sure we'll all be remebered when decals come out, or something.

I'm irritated just at the idea.

How about giving them a 'secret wormhole' to another galaxy, one that only they can pass through, and when they get to the other side it is actually the alpha game system , which they all loved so much. Better still make it a one direction wormhole, so that any character that passes through gets to live in the past...permanently! maybe then alphas could choose to stay in the real game, and stop harping on about the old days.

Unlike Smit, I think that this SHOULD be reserved for the active Alpha/Betas, even those that just recently came back. There's gotta be some reward for sticking it out over 3 years.

I highly doubt that the devs will require the alpha or beta badges for anything. And it will be something that everyone can get, eventually.
