Why would pyronis go boom too Yoda, just because they are close due to the wormhole does not mean they are close in real space. The map depicts the known UNIVERSE not Galaxy. Each system, potentially, is in a different galaxy.

Neighbouring systems are connected by wormholes, and are not actually next door to each other in a physical sense. shock waves from a supernova would not effect them. Helios is a big place - I just hope my favourite roids survived the blast!

There again I remember reading that heliocene is created under intense temperatures and pressures, so maybe there will be more of it lying about the place - (starts packing for helios)
