Hiya Relayer! :)

I was merely hypothesising about it in general.
What the Serco general populace is like is not explained explicitly, if I recall correctly, so I was unable to say anything conclusive, but you are most likely right. A Serco Queen would be fun, though, wouldn't it?

I wonder where the classification runlevel0 posted came from. Did you write it yourself or did you use an existing one? If the latter applies, could you give the source (I am interested. :)?

The Serco not only have enhanced themselves with cybernetic implants, but they also have undergone gene therapy in order to adapt more quickly to Terra II after the collapse of the Sol wormhole. In terms of genetics, I wouldn't say that they've necessarily modified themselves so much that they cannot mate successfully with Itani, but they are much closer to the UIT than Itani. In fact, nearly all UIT have gene therapy in their lineages, although it may be many generations in the past. I'd say that there's very little difference between a UIT than a Serco in terms of genetics. The main difference is that a UIT would claim that they're independent of the Serco Dominion.

Bioimplantation and gene therapy was not originally intended for war, but rather to make each Serco more efficient in their area of society, so when the colony war broke out, they were at a distinct disadvantage simply due to a lack of soldiers. This is the reason for their initial heavy dependance on warrior drones. As it was, the industrial sector of Serco society was heavily dependent on drones to do dangerous and repetitive work, and so drone factories only needed new schematics to contstruct attack drones, and the Serco drone controllers only needed slight hardware modification to control the new drones.
